Other Half Brewing Co, a local brewery in New York City was founded by Sam Richardson, Matt Monahan, and Andrew Burman in 2014. They had a simple mission: to create beers that they wanted to drink from a company that they wanted to be a part of.

When Covid-19 struck the whole world, they came up with a new mission: to raise awareness and provide relief, even in the smallest way, to those who are struggling. This resulted in: All Together – a worldwide, open-ended beer collaboration created to raise support for the hospitality industry.

They have invited any brewer, from any corner of the planet to participate. They made the recipe open source, artwork public and the name is theirs to use. The only thing Other Half Brewing Co asked for was that a portion of the proceeds go to supporting the hospitality professionals in the breweries own  communities.

Today, 718 breweries in 51 different countries are a part of this initiative. One of those breweries are Lervig, who are also a member of The NBCC. Lervig has adjusted the All Together recipe to suit the Norwegian market, and for every can sold, 20 KR goes back to their Norwegian hospitality community – hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes and cultural life.

For more information about this initiative, please visit All Together.

The NBCC will also have a virtual beer tasting with Lervig on 15th May, get your tickets and beer case here.
