Bartender

We are looking for an experienced Bartender to be part of team at Ekte Nordic Kitchen in the City. The ideal candidate must have experience covering:

– Good Wine knowledge, basic cocktails and bar dispenser routine. – Organization, cleaning and self management skills – Passionate about beverage, customer service and sustainable practice. – Good English communication. – Able to remain calm, focused and determined, contributing to a good work atmosphere responding to GM and Bar Manager. – Working in venues at City of London are a plus. – Food, Health & Safety training certificates are a plus.

Chef de Partie

Ekte Nordic Kitchen is a restaurant in the city serving Nordic food using carefully sourced British produce. We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join our busy team.

– The successful Chef de Partie will be open-minded, ambitious ,energetic and ready to Learn. – Previous experience with Nordic food would be good but not necessary. – Previous experience in high volume is an advantage.

The above role is to support the Head Chef and GM in the day to day running of the kitchen, including food production, stock and staff management.

Duties include:

– Mise en place and setting up your section for service. – Ordering and stock rotation for your section – following instructions from the Senior chefs during service. – producing food following recipes and instruction . – Making sure all health and safety procedures are followed.

HEAD CHEF

We are looking for a Head Chef to be the leader of our busy Nordic Kitchen in the City. The ideal candidate must have a consistent experience covering:

– Head Chef / kitchen manager in venues serving Around 200 covers + catering/ production experience.

– Able to remain calm and focused, ensuring every dish is impeccable and drive the team during services.

– Lead a team and drive the department forward, achieve KPI, budgets, financial and compliance experience and knowledge of H&S.

– Backoffice skills for paperwork, systems, rotas, H&S and team mentoring responding to General Manager and Executive Chef

– Passionate about fresh food, seasonal produce and sustainable practices when to create and implement Scandinavian menus

– Cooking and Hygiene Certificates are a plus.

– Excellent Standard of English.
