As the days get longer and we look forward to the easing of restrictions, we’ve seen a surge of inspiration and excitement from our attendees at our events. Kicking off April we have a yoga class and wellbeing seminar at “Prioritising Wellbeing at Work” supporting World Health Day, followed by a well deserved Easter break. Finishing up the month, we are hosting an exciting “Carbon Roundtable” where attendees can chat to experts about their questions and experience, and finally a “Climate Collage Workshop” where we create an open and supportive space to make climate science accessible.

08th April – Prioritising Wellbeing at Work (tickets)

Welcome to an event that is split into “part 1” and “part 2” so you can attend only the yoga or only the seminar session. We welcome you to attend both if you can.

In an ever-changing landscape, prioritising wellbeing at work has never been so important. When people are in a state of wellbeing at work, they are able to develop their potential, be productive and creative, build positive relationships with others, better cope with stress, and make meaningful contributions.

22nd April – The Carbon Roundtable: Are You Considering Net Zero? (tickets)

Whenever we talk about carbon at our events, our attendees have a lot of questions. We can never get through them all, especially not in the depth needed. Therefore, in celebration of World Earth Day we are holding a one-off Carbon Roundtable – tell us what your priorities are in becoming carbon neutral, and we will facilitate small capacity rooms with experts to have your burning questions answered and share your own knowledge, thoughts and experience.

We are welcoming speakers from Verco, Hewitt Studios, Elmtronics and Network members Future Leap, Go Climate Positive, UKGBC and Nexus Carbon Management.

This event showcases Future Leap’s consultancy offer.

There is limited space to this event to ensure all attendees have ample time with their chosen experts, so book on soon to secure your place. We will ask you to rate the topics in priority order when you book, so we can endeavour to put you in your most preferred groups. You will be informed of your groups in advance.

29.04 – Climate Collage Workshop: Making Climate Accessible (tickets)

This 2.5 hour workshop will cover the drivers, mechanisms and consequences of the climate science. Even scientists and consultants who have joined these workshops, always learn a great deal. We take the fifth cycle assessment report from the IPCC, turn them into picture form and create a mural identifying the relationships between the cards. Join up the dots, so you can help your clients do the same.

The UN calls for “rapid far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society” to limit warming to below 2 degrees C* – but how much do we really understand the problem?

When we get to grips with the science we can unlock creative solutions and communicate better with our clients and colleagues.

In this workshop with With Many Roots we will focus on how our businesses, projects and networks can help the transition at the scale the problem demands.

Join us for this special event, a Climate Collage workshop hosted especially for FEN members and friends. Not part of FEN? Not a problem. Come along and learn alongside peers, debate and network.
