14th May

One for the thrill seekers at work or at home and also the first national event for the One Sporting City Cup and is open to rafts of six and also individuals.
The experience starts with a guide to the course from a gold medal winning GB Slalom Canoeist, each rafter gets a signed photo of them and the athlete as well as a host of action shots from the day to populate their social media feeds.
Then for two hours you are in the hands of the rafting guides and after going through safety drills you have a host of runs down the course during 75 minutes of rapid action.
The timed runs will determine our One Sporting City champions with time bonuses given in relation to how much you have fundraised for your chosen good cause.
You even get to have medals given to you by an actual canoeing medallist.
To participate, you must be a competent swimmer over 14 years old AND less than 18 stone. Additional guests are welcome to watch and listen to proceedings.

Events will be run by the venue according to the Covid-19 restrictions of the day.
