NBCC member, London-based PR agency for Nordic startups and scaleups, Deliberate PR (www.deliberate-pr.com), is actively recruiting for roles across its organisation.

Having spent nearly a decade capitalising on the British media’s obsession with all things Scandinavian in order to bring Swedish and Danish startups to the UK, Deliberate PR turned its attention to the emerging Norwegian startup and scaleup eco system in 2017. Norwegian clients have included No Isolation, Wastefront, Nofence, Oda (formerly Kolonial), and Gelato.

Deliberate PR focuses on turning emerging news themes to the advantage of clients, or finding ways to set the news agenda on their behalf. Highlights of its work for Norwegian companies include arranging for No Isolation to help a sick British child become the world’s first virtual football mascot – https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/apr/23/everton-newcastle-mascot-disabled-teenager-robot; persuading the most famous Broadway poster designer to use Gelato to launch a unique charity online store – https://www.independent.co.uk/news/rejected-broadway-posters-on-sale-to-help-theater-community-new-york-simba-west-end-mark-kennedy-b1833967.html, and bringing Wired to Oslo to document its startup scene for the first time – https://www.wired.co.uk/article/best-startups-oslo

Deliberate PR is looking to recruit London-based individuals at various levels and with every type of relevant experience: from graduates to senior level PR professionals to former journalists. Team members should have an interest in the news agenda, technology (and its integration within daily life), and, of course, Norwegian innovation and culture.
