Sadly, my time as NBCC’s Young Professionals Coordinator has come to an end after two exciting and transformative years.
My first thought is of course that this departure is bittersweet. I have massively enjoyed my time with the NBCC, especially witnessing the exciting growth and development of the YP since it was revived two years ago. Particular highlights were meeting new and familiar faces at YP networking events, as well as collaborating with the FBCC and DKUK to create the Young Professionals After Work event series.
While sad to leave, I can happily reflect back on my time working for the Chamber and everything I’ve learned. In addition to meeting so many interesting people involved with Norwegian-British trade, I am grateful for the professional guidance and instruction I have received from NBCC’s General Manager Kyrre Haugen.
Looking forward, I am excited for the future of both the NBCC and the YP, and to follow the YP network’s development under the steerage of the talented Knut Martin who will be taking over as YP coordinator!
