You are kindly invited to the second event in the Innovation and Diversity Network hosted by the Norwegian British Chamber of Commerce, held in the iconic Shard building in the heart of London.
This event series seeks to address the various ways organisations can benefit from diversity and foster innovation.
The Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce believes that in order to foster true collaboration between people and corporation internationally – and between Norway and the UK in particular – it is fundamental to work from the principle of egality and equal worth and embrace differences to foster innovation.
Currently gender diversity is a hot topic with Washington Post recently citing some recent statistics from the financial sector, which have surprised many observers, insiders, as well as politicians and the press. Read more here
The forum is intended to generate insights into research, share best practices and inspire business collaboration between the chamber’s members, Norwegian and British organisations.
Our own partner member, DNB, will share some of their experience from their initiative of getting more women into leadership positions. The presentation will be made by Terje Tunes, General Manager will share visions, thoughts and experiences.
Also, the NBCC Council member, Agnes Bamford, will present how intercultural difference occur and offer her perspective on solutions to combat them.
The event and the hopefully lively debate will be facilitated by Lani Bannach, who chairs the Diversity and Innovation Network under the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce.
